Jens just posted this on his twitter account .
for anyone who care i am gonna fight again aug 14th
No other details at this time. I don’t see any major MMA organizations with fight cards on August 14th. A little research shows that Cage Rage is putting on a show August 14th, so I would bet that is where Pulver will end up.
The mixed martial artist formerly known as Jon Koppenhaver, and Ultimate Fighter 6 contestant, has been posting some pretty creepy tweets on his twitter account lately. War Machine’s latest set of tweets read like this:
- What makes you think you’re safe when I HATE myself?
- When I am ready to die I will kill many and I will then kill myself and I will tape it. It will be rad.
- If I shed a tear in life it’s because I was born too late. Not in a time where I could live to my potential…I deserve glory.
- I give it 3 years tops till I decide to end this life. All you mother (expletive) against me will go first, thats a promise. Sleep on that.
It’s going to be hard to obtain a license to fight if any of the athletic commissions see this stuff.

Brock Lesnar will not defend his UFC heavyweight title at UFC 106.
According to UFC.com, Lesnar has an illness that has forced him out of training camp for almost a month. The UFC hopes to re-schedule the bout for early 2010.
Lesnar’s opponent, Shane Carwin, posted on his twitter account earlier today. He claims that the match will take place on January 2, 2010.
UFC 106 will now feature a main event of Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin. This is rematch from UFC 59 where Tito Ortiz was awarded a very close split decision win over Forrest.
With Lesnar’s withdrawal, the UFC will have two consecutive events without a title fight. UFC 105 will air free on Spike TV and features a light heavyweight main event of Randy “The Natural” Couture and Brandon “The Truth” Vera.
Andrei “The Pitbull” Arlovski announced Tuesday on his twitter page that he will face undefeated heavyweight Brett “The Grim” Rogers on Saturday, June 6 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis. The fight will air live on Showtime.
This match will more then likely not go the distance. Both fighters are primarily known for their striking ability. Rogers is 9-0 in MMA competition, winning 8 of his fights by knockout. Arlovski is a former UFC heavyweight champion who is coming off of a devastating knockout loss to Fedor Emelianenko. Up until he got cocky and threw a sloppy flying knee leading to the devastating knockout, he was outboxing Fedor every stretch of the way.
That being said, Arlovski’s stand up game is light years ahead of Rogers’. Arlovski does have a very suspect chin, though, and if “The Grim” can land a clean shot he has very good chances of keeping his undefeated streak alive.
Arlovski has to stay calm, patient, and utilize his speed and technique to prevent being knocked out by Rogers. I believe he can do it, and I think “The Pitbull” will get back to his winning ways on June 6th.
