Los - thanks for the comments - coming from a guy like you, it means a lot

A lot of people are down playing this PPV because there is no title fight. Also, we are coming off of one of the most exciting PPV's in a long time, so people's expectations are high for 85.

Vera has every tool to pull it off. If he comes in to the fight in shape and completely healthy he should be fine.

The weird thing is that for the longest time the oddsmakers had this fight at -115 for both fighters. Now it is -110 for Vera and +170 for Werdum. I wonder what the change is all about.

LVJ: You always do a great job on the previews and breakdowns of the big MMA events. I'm with you on the main event. I believe Alves is ready for the big stage. I think Davis-Swick should produce some serious fireworks and I'm looking forward to Vera-Werdum. I hope Vera is able to pull out a vicctory in that one.
