Two Friday’s ago , the IFL put on a pretty good card at the IZOD center in East, Rutherford NJ. I was ringside snapping some pictures and got some decent shots.
These pictures would have been up much sooner, but I caught a case of the flu that put me down harder then a Gabe Gonzaga kick to the skull.

notes from the fight:
– Nate Lamotte took Chris Horodecki to the limit and made an impressive debut. Hopefully we will get to see more of this guy in the future.
– Late replacement Jim Miller has some great jiu-jitsu. He must have had 3-4 close submissions on Bart Palaszewski including a pretty tight anaconda choke.
– I really like Bart Palaszewski. He has an aggressive style and takes the fight to every one of his opponents. he has lost his last three fights, though, and maybe it is time for a change in camps. Having almost 40 fights under his belt, he is an experienced and well rounded fighter. I’d like to see him get back on the winning track because he is a very exciting guy to watch.
– Brad Blackburn has the heart of a champ. He was being controlled during rounds 1 and 2 and came back in round 3 to deliver a brutal knockout punch to Delson Heleno.
– Wagnney Fabiano showed the entire world that he is more then just a submission fighter. He showed some great kicks and also served up a brutal knockout punch that Shad Lierley was not expecting.
– Jay Hieron looks better every time he fights. His game is really evolving.
